Since I was surprised with how much time and money I have spent over the years on entertainment consumptions (found out through personal investigation), I have decided to do this Info graph project on it. These images were some of the pages from the final outcome.

For this subject, the idea for the comic was developed further to make a storyboard then into an animatic as a final outcome. From the list of themes that were given, I chose “The Reveal” to explore the world of my own characters. The images for the storyboard were the images that I used for the actual animatic.

Big Panda is the main character that drives the story and there’s minor character, the Small Panda, who just appears as he passes by the scene. Although Small Panda turned out to be non-significant character, I have put some effort in to give him particular character.

This is the storyboard I’ve done for the previously posted short Flash animation, “The Panda”. Due to the strict duration restriction for the final Flash animation, the last sequence did not fit in the actual animation, but this is how I originally planned to resolve the story in the end.

There are 3 parts to this assignment and even though it didn’t need to, I have chose the colour and concept which works for all 3 of them.

Imagery that I used in my Schema.

Although I do not have confidence in typography, I do like to try them out. (and I tend to do it quite often) I often work with piece of coloured paper and hand draw each letters on it. I prefer to work away from computer especially when I am working with alphabets, because in that way, I feel like I have more control over the text.
